Festival Information

Thank you for entering our event we are really looking forward to seeing you on the 1st and 2nd of February

For parking please use the car parks at the hotel and then walk to the registration which is approx 1km away.

Please enter the hotel via Ewanfield.

Will take place in the Action Glen HQ Basecamp we anticipate it will be busy so we would appreciate if you could arrive early if possible.

We will open registration at 9.30am until 11.30am and 3pm - 4.30pm on Saturday and open at 8.30am and close 10.30am on Sunday.

There will be separate registration areas for the different distances.

You will collect your bib number(s) wrists bands and timing chip. Your timing chip should be worn on your ankle over your clothes.



All the runs start from the same place just outside registration.

Warm ups will be provided by Crossley Fitness


The Scheduled start times are; (Please note this is provisional times at this stage)

Saturday (Day One):

  • Junior Run (3km): 12pm
  • Light 10k: 1pm
  • Dark 10k: 5pm (please note head torches will be required)

Sunday (Day Two):

  • 5k: 11am
  • Half Marathon: 12.30pm


The Runs

The route will be well marked and follows paths of various terrain. Expect to get muddy we recommend trail shoes.

Watch out for points where the route splits for each distance.

You are responsible for following the route (please do not just follow other runners - they might have made a mistake!)

Adults can run with juniors on the junior race even if they are wearing their chip.

Please listen to and respect marshals on the course.



When you finish you can collect your personalised medal from the medal tent (we'll be using your wristband to get you the correct medal please do not lose it!)

Prize givings for the senior races will be held as soon as we are able to.

There will be a bag drop - BUT it is unattended, so we recommend making alternate arrangements such as leaving bags with supporters. We cannot take any responsibility for any loss of belongings.
